Tax Day Tea Party Success!
About 20 people met and stood together for lower taxes, smaller government, and representative government. We protested on Murrieta Hot Springs Road between the 15 and 215 during the busiest commute period.
We were there from 4:30 to 7:30. We all stayed late because we were having a great time and getting lots of recognition from the commuters.
A reporter from the Californian (newspaper) interviewed a number of us as well.
While this was a small event, it was a great chance to meet new people and have fun. We had several people stop and join us — so it was not just “regulars”.
Our next event is going to be Memorial Day weekend, and will be a more traditional tea party.
Cheers, and thanks to all!
