Where does Mary Bono Mack live?
Murrieta is partially represented by Mary Bono Mack and partially represented by Darrell Issa.
Bono Mack has an interesting past. It wasn’t clear who she was before Sonny Bono died — did she care about government and the people? Did she even use the name “Bono”? But as soon as he died, she traded on his name to get elected.
She married again — and I don’t recall her dropping Bono’s name for his.
And now she’s married to Connie Mack (R-FL). Not there there is anything wrong with workplace romances; they are both consenting adults.
But usually workplace romances and subsequent marriages are between people who live together. Where does she live? Does she move the children back and forth?
A representative’s job is to represent her constituents. How can she if she doesn’t live there?
Why is she still trading on Sonny Bono’s name after all these years?
You may ask — why the ad hominem concerns? Because her recent vote on Cap-and-Trade (HR 2454) calls into question her understanding of the will of her constituents.
She works for us. Remind her that we do NOT support Cap and Trade Carbon Legislation and that we want a local and connected representative.
Check her voting record. As one of only a few Republicans supporting Cap and Trade we need to examine this carefully.
She’s not a carpet-bagger — even I admit that. But she IS an “overnight bagger”.
And that’s not good for us. It’s just common sense.
