The Frog
Remember the story of the frog? “If you put him in a pot of hot water, he’ll jump out. But if you put him in a pot of cool water and turn up the heat, he doesn’t realize that he is being boiled to death…”
The last part of the story is usually either “until he’s dead” or “until he’s too weak to jump out”.
We are not frogs. We realize that we are being boiled through direct and hidden taxes, and we will never give up — and we will never be too weak to stop the insanity.
It is time to elect representatives who say “MUST the government do this?”, and only support legislation for which the answer is “yes”.
